Menu Plan Monday

I am taking part in the 8 Weeks to a Better You Challenge. I'm just coming off a similar challenge with family, but I wasn't into it 100 percent since I was on bedrest and had a sweet little newborn for the majority of it. I am approaching 6 weeks post partum and starting to have moments where I am not completely sleep deprived ... so here we go!

Some of the challenge rules include no sugar and no white flours. This is big for us. I've been wanting to eat more "naturally" so I am hoping to learn a lot! I'll let you know how it goes.

I also need to get 7 hours of sleep a night (or probably day in my case) and exercise 45 minutes a day. My favorite challenge requirements are doing a random act of kindness every day and writing in a journal every day ... thus the blog!

A menu plan is definitely in order to help me steer clear of of sugars and fast food. Especially since I have a fun goal ... looking good for pictures at this BEAUTIFUL couple's wedding on December 28th.



Aren't they studding? Time to shed the baby weight so I can feel great during the holidays and celebrate this amazing day with them.

So here is my menu plan for this week incorporating more natural foods:




Breakfasts:
Whole Wheat Crepes with Berry Sauce
Smoothies
Egg Omelet
Homemade Granola
Whole Wheat Waffles

Lunches:
Salads
Sandwiches
Tortilla Pizzas

Dinner:
Whole Wheat Tortilla Burritos
Turkey Quinoa Meatloaf
Beef Stroganoff on Brown Rice
Taco Soup
Halloween Dinner on the Free Day!


Snacks:
Popcorn
Fruits and Veggies :)
Triscuits with cottage cheese and salsa
