Getting creative with OhMyCrafts.com

Today I found out this gem of a craft store mere minutes from where I live in Orem. Oh My Crafts hosted myself and a few of my favorite craft bloggers this morning to get our craft on and check out their new warehouse and products.

Oh My Crafts caters to crafters of all skill levels - even myself and my five year old apprentice Lily. My craft motto is, "if I can do it - you can, too!" I'm all about learning tips and tricks to make me look like a pro.

Favorite item that we tried was this awesome Distress Ink by Tim Holtz. Loved the effects it made.

We made these oh so cute gift boxes. Want to make one of your own?  Be one of the first crafters in the door at 11 am and you'll get your own make and take like this one. You can't see it in the picture, but each gift box comes with a Sissix Talking Tag. Love when crafting meets technology.

Their brand new warehouse is located at 1499 West 105 North in Orem. It is full of crafts and inspiration like the darling witch hat in the picture above that I am dying to recreate for the Gardner Village Witches Night Out this year. I may have bought some super cute embellishments to get myself started.

Before we left, we toured their creative spaces and warehouse. It is amazing what these gals can do with simple craft paper. I wish I had gotten a close up of the frame above the patchwork frame. It looked like fabric, but it was actually paper circles. Darling!

Loved the vinyl quotes all over the walls as well.

Had to get some of this paper bakeware to use for Lily's summer of service.   We'll be baking up some banana bread to give out to neighbors in style!

Lily was in love with the summer display. She picked out some super fun children's bubber - the lightest molding compound on earth that doesn't dry out.

Here's one last shot of my girl crafting it up. We loved their work room where we tried out new tools and reveled in their expert advice. OhMyCrafts.com has dozens of classes coming up that you will want to check out. I may just be signing up for their Intro to Vinyl class on the 9th so that I can etch my last name into our casserole pans.

Can't make it to Orem? They have an awesome online store as well as a fun youtube tutorial channel.

Be sure to check them out on Facebook and Pinterest as well!

Remember Simply the Sweet Life Magazine and craft bloggers Ashlee of I'm Topsy Turvy, Lindsay of Artsy Fartsy Mama and Vanessa of Mommyness Adventures will be there at 11:00 am every day to help you with their darling make and take. You can also catch some amazing prices on your favorite craft supplies from Sizzix, Bazzil Basics, Imaginisce, Making Memories, Basic Grey, Glue Dots & so much MORE!

I was given a $25 gift card to try out OhMyCrafts.com products, but all opinions are my own.
