Articles of Faith Premiere

 

Lily and I escaped on a mommy/daughter date last month to see the premiere of Zack and Zoey Explore the Articles of Faith.

We met up with my sister (Live to be Inspired) and her son, Titan, at Jordan Commons - one of our favorite places to visit because that's where grandma works! I absolutely love when blogging and family time intersect so perfectly. Lily is at the perfect age to be my little blogging buddy.

 

These two entertainers/amateur film critics were giggling and dancing in their seats throughout the entire movie. The film describes and introduces the Articles of Faith in a way that is memorable and age appropriate.The children in the film are darling and the tunes are catchy and fun. The youth choir and orchestra did a phenomenal job.

As we left the premiere, Lily was suddenly in tears and she told me, "we can't leave without the movie! It's the best movie I've EVER seen." I couldn't argue with a child who was begging me to get an Articles of Faith movie so we quickly grabbed my wallet from the car and ran back in to purchase it. We listened to the CD that comes with the book the entire way home with her dancing in her seat. 

Now we listen to the CD on the way to and from school along with her Let's Play music CD. Lily has several of the Articles of Faith memorized and I am one happy mama. We watch the DVD at least once a week and it's started some great gospel discussions.
