Melissa at Fablifyit has sent me several craft kits that I have been itching to start with my five year old helper and artist extraordinaire. My fall decor is sadly smaller in supply than my other seasons so it is definitely time to give it a boost. This mini stacker fall kit was the perfect evening activity to get me and my daughter started.
Lily applied all the first coats of paint. It wasn't as dark or as SPARKLY as we had envisioned so we let it dry and applied another coat of paint before we went to bed. This project was ideal to work on with my daughter and allow her her artistic freedom. Purple was not my first choice of color, but it was her's and I love how it turned out!
After school the next day it was time to apply the vinyl. It was our first time working with vinyl and we got some FAB tips from Melissa. It was super easy to apply when the vinyl was warm and we just rubbed it on with my debit card.
VOILA! This project was super easy and my daughter gave it two thumbs up. I am thinking we may need to get some sparkly ribbon to give it that extra glam, don't you?
If you want to complete a kit of your own it is only $4.50 or you can get the darling vinyl for $2.00 Not a crafter - you can get Melissa's completed version for $9.00. You can find all the fabulousness at her web-site.
Melissa is giving away a mini stacker kit as well! Head on over for a chance to fablify this kit for yourself!
Stay tuned for more fall craft kits!
*I was given a craft kit for this post, but all opinions are mine any my little helper's :).
